This month’s meeting will be a year-end review. We’ll celebrate our successes, discuss our challenges and strategize plans for improvement. Your ideas and suggestions will help us map out a strong 2024-2025 school year of RESPECT.
Please RSVP to receive the Zoom link for our RESPECT meeting.
*The RESPECT Campaign is led by education support professionals (bus drivers, librarian associates, paraprofessionals, secretaries, security, nurses, cafeteria workers and other school support staff) and supported by IEA staff.

Do you have experience with excessive heat in school settings? NEA is gathering information on member and student experiences with extreme heat in classrooms, buses, kitchens, playgrounds, and more. We’ll use the information to advocate for legislative and regulatory improvements, both at the federal level and in our support to affiliates.
Meet Professional Learning Leaders (PLLs) from Project LEAP and learn how they have grown through this leadership experience, elevating their professional skills and presence. Gain insight into how to use a Professional Learning Leader Academy to strengthen the ESP community. The PLLs will share how, through their Academy experience, they have been inspired to stretch their thinking, use their voice, and increase their presence as union leaders.

After an extremely busy end of the school year, I am in need of a few days to rest and recharge. I know many of you are feeling the same way. Please find time to refuel your soul and recharge your passions. I am truly thankful for each and everyone of you! What you do matters! YOU MATTER!

It’s Tier 2 Tuesday! In a historic display of solidarity with educators, cicadas are emerging after 13 and 17 years underground to raise their voice and call for lawmakers to undo Tier 2 and fix our state retirement system. ALL educators should be able to retire with dignity. Sign our petition if you agree: bit.ly/UndoTier2petition
Share this with THREE FRIENDS who should sign with you!
