“Running” for office is just that. You run your buns off to connect with members, run your brain constantly to make sure you are delivering the right message, and, literally, run to get from meeting to meeting to charity dinner to some other event. Leadership comes in all shapes and sizes. Is throwing your hat in for state-wide association office right for you? Do you have the desire, commitment, know-how and grit to throw in your hat? As a proud ESP member and the new Washington Education Association Vice President, Janie White is looking forward to having a conversation where we’ll all get real about what it takes to run for office.

PRESENTER(S): Janie White, Vice President Washington Education Association, ESP Member
