We need ESPs voices where decisions are made
Each summer, approximately 6,000 educators meet to debate the vital issues that impact American public education and set National Education Association policy and activities for the year ahead. As you know, I am a huge proponent of education support professionals having a seat where decigions are made. Here is your opportunity to help drive the goals of our union, to help steer it’s priorities. If you are elected in the spring election, all of your travel, meals, hotel costs will be funded (reimbursed) according to IEA travel policies.
The 2025 Representative Assembly will meet in Portland, OR, July 2-6, 2025.

All stakeholders must have a voice at tables where decisions are made to equitably transform our organization and move our strategic goals forward. Every constituency group must feel seen, heard, respected and supported as we build an organizing focused organization that builds power to reach our goals.

You should have received your 2025 Election notice. Bring your vioce to the table where decisions are made by becoming a delegate at the National Education Association Representative Assembly and/or join the Education Support Professional Council. Submit your nomination for by Febrary 12th. You may submit nominations by certified mail or online. See election packet for details.
